I have never visited Seattle personally, but from what I hear it is the place to be for local roasted, authentic coffee where the aroma of fresh brewed coffee fills the air. The founders of Bean Box have lived in Seattle for 28 years, they love the coffee, their friends and family love the coffee so they found themselves buying their favorite coffees and sending it as gifts to friends and family. This is what sparked the idea for Bean Box, to make it easy for everyone to experience the endless varieties of Seattle’s prized coffee shops and roasters.
Bean Box offers subscriptions and gift options. When you receive your Bean Box it is not just a box with some coffee thrown in. Each bag is labeled with a description of the coffee and it also includes a handy card that tells you about the roaster and blend for each one. Both my husband and I are huge coffee fans, he loves a rich, dark, bold roast where I like my coffee more on the mild and light roast side. We both love to try different varieties and we love to grind our own beans, the coffee just always seems so much fresher and the aroma of fresh ground coffee just adds to the experience. In our Bean Box we received coffees from Caffe Vita, Zoka, Fundamental Coffee and Slate Coffee Roasters. My husband loved the Fundamental Coffee, their Stemwinder Blend is a dark roast so it was right up his alley and for me my favorite was the Ethiopia Kilenso from Slate Coffee Roasters, it is a light blend and I loved the cocoa undertones that it offered.
Bean Box subscriptions are available as a one time box or you can subscribe for 3, 6, 9 or 12 months or have an ongoing subscription and the price is only $20 per month. If you find a blend that is your favorite and you cannot do without it you can purchase single bags or have it delivered once or twice a month. For those family and friends that you know and love that are hard to buy for, a Bean Box Gift would be ideal. If you know they love coffee then you cannot go wrong with this gift. The wonderful folks from Bean Box have offered a monthly box to one of my lucky readers. Just enter the giveaway here and be sure to show Bean Box some love on facebook, twitter and Instagram.
