If you have been reading my blog here at Queen of Reviews very long you know how much I love the Fagor brand. The Platino Juicer and Sorbet Maker which makes juicing less messy and so easy and good for you sorbet in no time. The Fagor Halogen Tabletop Oven can cook foods using less oil, kind of like frying in a convection oven, it is quick and everything comes out perfectly. My love for the Fagor brand began back in November of 2014 when I first tried the 3-in1 Electric Multicooker, it is like the magic wand of my kitchen, slow cooker, rice steamer and pressure cooker in one, I am not sure how I ever lived without it. Just when I thought I was in slow cooker/pressure cooker heaven Fagor goes and makes the electric multi-cooker even better with the introduction of the Lux Electric Multi-Cooker, if you have been looking for an instant pot review you need to check this one out.
This new Lux Multi-cooker takes everything I loved about the original 3-in-1 multi-cooker and just builds upon it. You will notice on the keypad picture above that there is a Yogurt button, yes you can make your own yogurt. All you need is the starter culture which could be other yogurt and you can make your own. Of course this must have for the kitchen can still pressure cook, slow cook and steam rice and make it so easy to do. One of the things that got me so excited about this new Lux Multi-cooker is that it is available in multiple sizes, 4, 6 or 8 quart. My original 3-in-1 Multi-cooker was 6 quart capacity and was ok for most things, but sometimes I found myself not being able to fit the largest roast or batch of soup, but with this new 8 quart size I have not been able to find anything I could not fit. Maybe you have a smaller family or there is only 2 of you, the 4 quart size may be perfect, I love having options.
As a busy homeschooling Mom of 4, unfortunately time is not always on my side, but with pressure cooking I can prepare a meal that makes it seem that I spent all day in the kitchen when I actually just let pressure cooking do all the work and can make a meal from frozen to complete in 30 minutes. Pressure cooking makes everything more tender, more juicy and forces the flavor of marinades, herbs and spices into whatever you are cooking, so 30 minutes in the pressure cooker compared to 30 minutes in a conventional oven is like night and day.
If you love to cook or know someone who does this would make the perfect gift this holiday season (and I won’t tell if you gift one to yourself). Head over to FagorAmerica.com today and check out all they have to offer. All of their products can be purchased through their online store, Amazon or find a store near you here.
