Did you know that there are more than 100,000 children in foster care awaiting adoption? In 1990, Dave Thomas, founder of Wendy’s®, accepted President George H.W. Bush’s invitation to be the spokesperson for a national adoption awareness campaign. Just two years later, Dave established The Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption® as a non-profit public charity with one primary goal: to help every child in foster care find a loving, permanent family. The Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption has a mission of making sure that every child has a family. As part of this process they work to inform adults about foster care, helping to undo misconceptions that keep so many from fostering children. The Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption also honors the Best Adoption Friendly Workplaces and can help you get your employer on board and also supports “A Home for the Holidays” and National Adoption Day.

i love Wendy’s. I’m definitely going to buy a few books. We used to give coupons like this for Halloween. I’ll checkout the coupon books & decide if we’re going to do that again. Thanks for the info!
