For the last few weeks I’ve been testing out the new Hoover Air Lift Deluxe Model #UH72511. This upright vacuum contains a detachable lift canister that allows you to move freely, unlike other uprights. It includes a 3-in-1 pivoting brush, pet hair tool, turbo and crevice tool for detailed cleaning and a telescoping wand. It uses WindTunnel 3 Technology, a patented technology where a channel of air causes dirt to be lifted and removed from carpets and also prevents dirt from scattering back on your clean floor.

“I’ve been using this product for a little over two weeks now. Like all vacuums I’ve tried this one has its pros and cons. I’ll start off by saying assembly was super easy and the instructions and illustrations help make this process smooth. Upon assembly I was excited to see several different attachment tools including an extension wand with a pivoting head and a very long cord. Some of the pros of the Hoover Air Lift Deluxe was the ability to adjust to any carpet height and solid surface. I have a combination of hard wood, thick carpet, tile, and rugs throughout my home and it transitioned nicely without extra assistance. The pet hair tool was my favorite out of all the tools. My couch is made of a chenille type material so the rubber/plastic coating protected the material while allowing me to remove the pet hair from our five pets. The suction stayed strong after many uses although it doesn’t reach the edges without the use of the crevice tool. Some of the cons that I found was the awkward feel of the movement of the machine. It does move freely but control was slightly uncomfortable. The dirt cup on my machine seems to only fill on one side and reach the max level before the other side of the cup barely gets anything in it. On the plus side the cup is easy to empty with the push of a button and the filter can be rinsed and machine used again within 24 hours. I like the pivoting dusting brush but found that leaving the canister attached instead of removing allowed me to reach my vents and ceiling fans easier. This was based on the recommendation of setting the detached unit on the floor if not holding in your hand. When dusting ceiling fans I like to have one hand free for spinning. The tool itself made more of a mess on the floor than it actually sucked up from the ceiling fan. It did however, do great on my vents because of its ability to pivot forward and backward. I did like the turbo tool with its very strong rotation it left my stairs looking clean and fluffed, minus the edges where the crevice tool had to be used. Overall this vacuum provides many features but I need to leave it an average rating based on the above.”
I gave the Hoover Air Lift Deluxe Model #UH72511 three out of five stars based on my experience while using it over the last two weeks. If you have been looking for vacuum cleaner reviews then you have to check it out. While it has room for improvement I rank it as average. Our home does have five pets with various lengths of hair and I really do like the pet hair tool attachment. Depending on what you’re looking for in a vacuum this just might be an option for you.
