Many years ago when my husband and I were newly married and had lots of time on our hands we used to sit for hours and play Tetris and Dr. Mario Tetris on our Super Nintendo. I still think it is one of the best games ever. Jenga Tetris combines the good ‘ol strategy game of Jenga with the craziness of Tetris. With traditional Jenga all of the wooden pieces that you built your tower with were the same. This new game throws in the twist of the odd shape Tetris pieces to build the tower.
The rules are still the same, build the tower and players start removing pieces from any level below the highest level and place that piece back on top. With the odd shaped pieces gaps are okay in this Jenga game, but fill in a level completely and you’ll get to pick the next player. Gameplay continues around the table until one player makes the tower fall, the remaining players rebuild the tower and the game continues until there is one player left who is the winner. Jenga Tetris is recommended for ages 8+ and can be played with 1 or more players.
