Hello all, this is Chris, Justine’s husband. In the past we have tried many products, most are products that we try as a family, some I try are just for me. Most of the time I tell Justine my opinion of the product and she posts about it and shares my experience. Every now and then there is a product so amazing that I just have to write about it myself, the KORE Essentials Trakline Belt is by far one of those. When I received the belt I ran into the Living Room and showed it to Hannah, our 16 year old telling and showing her how cool it was, of course she did not see what the big deal was and thought I was crazy for taking my belt on and off over and over.
The Trakline Belt By KORE comes it a handy lil drawstring bag and also a hanger that makes storing your new belt in the closet so easy and I always know where to find it. If you look at the pic on the right above you may be thinking “What’s so special about this belt?” Look closer, the buckle is not your ordinary buckle. Traditional belts use a buckle that has that little prong that you stick in one of the few holes in the best to hold it in place. The KORE Essentials Trakline Belt has no holes, instead it has a track that has 40 sizing positions that are 1/4″ apart, see the pic below.
The flexibility of this belt is amazing. Being able to adjust it to the 1/4 of the inch means no more issues of overtightening or having it too loose. I wear my belts with both blue jeans and also slacks to work and each one can have its own hole that it feels the most comfortable at, but each always seems like it is just not right and I am tempted to add my own new hole but that just causes more issues. Plus, let’s be honest we go out for a business lunch and afterwards our pants don’t fit quite the same as they did before. With the Trakline belt I can loosen my belt in 1/4″ increments, with a traditional belt I would have to loosen it a whole inch which leaves them feeling too loose and has me worried about a pants on the ground situation at work. For me the biggest reason that I ever replace a belt is because over time that bending that you do to get the prong in the hole makes the belt really weak at that point and also the color of the leather comes off. With the Trakline Belt from KORE, neither of thee are an issue. My Trakline is still shaped just as it was when I took it out of the package a couple of weeks ago and it still looks as good as new, there is just not anything to wear on the belt.
Another great feature that you will notice about this belt is the clasp on the back, on the right side in the pic above. When you buy a Trakline Belt by KORE you have many different belts and buckles to choose from. When you receive it you can trim the belt to length if needed and then you insert it into the clasp on the back and press it down. These very sharp teeth grab the belt and hold it in place. This means I could also have a brown belt and swap this buckle onto it. I could also have a collection of buckles and rotate them among my belts. The Trakline belt is very easy to use, just slide the belt through the buckle and pull until comfortable and it will lock in place. To remove, just press the tap on the top left of the buckle in the pic above and just pull the belt back out. Ladies, I am sorry, but KORE does not currently make belts for women, Justine was very sad to hear this. What you can do ladies is go grab your man, show him this article and the video below and have him go here to check out the huge selection of belts and buckles. I guarantee he will love this belt, I will never, ever buy a traditional belt again. If you are looking for a gift idea that the man in your life will absolutely love this is it. He will think of you every time he puts his belt on or when he gets a little carried away with the hot wings at lunch and needs to let loose a little.
I know you have a man that will love this belt as much as I do so we have teamed up with KORE Essentials to offer our readers a chance to win their choice of belt and buckle combination so you can see for yourself just how big of a deal this is. Be sure to show the awesome folks from KORE Essentials some love on facebook, twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, Instagram, tumblr and Google+. Good luck!
