Have you ever wondered “Will my loved ones know my wishes when I’m no longer able to tell them?”, with Lifetime Vault, Inc., they will. Lifetime Vault is a service that allows you to save user names and passwords, upload medical files, wills and any other documentation that you would want loved ones to have access to if you were to become disabled or die. After you create an account you will have access to print your vault key to give to loved ones and you can then print additional copies from your profile at any time. When the loved one needs access to your information they will contact Lifetime Vault using the information on the vault key you printed and Lifetime Vault will walk them through the process. Your information will only be available to the loved one after Lifetime Vault has verified your disability or death. When you add information or documents you have a choice of three categories to place that item in and you can also use any combination of the three. If you add items to the health care section your specified love ones will only being able to access it after Lifetime Vault has verified you are disabled. Items you may add to this category would be copies of your living will, power of attorney and financial information. You would use the funeral section to store items such as where you would like to be buried, prepaid funeral arrangements or preference of being buried or cremated. Again access to this information will only be granted after Lifetime Vault has verified you are deceased. The third section is probate and documents you would place in there could be life insurance policies or retirement account info. Access to this section will only be granted after Lifetime Vault has received a copy of your death certificate.
Becoming disabled or even dying is not something that we will like to think about often especially if we are younger and healthy. Regardless of how much we like to think of it we have to be prepared and have everything in order to make it as easy as possible for our loved ones and also to make sure our wishes are honored when we can no longer make those decisions for ourselves. Lifetime Vault helps with both situations allowing us to be assured that our loved ones will know our wishes even if we never told them.
The awesome folks from Lifetime Vault have been generous enough to provide a 1 year subscription to their service ($59.88 value) for FREE to one of my lovely readers. Just enter using the Rafflecopter below and the winner will be drawn and announced on July 30th. Good luck everyone!
