My Favorite Banana Bread Recipe
This is my favorite Banana Bread recipe. My mother used to make it all the time when I was growing up. I've tried other recipes but this is the one I always come back to. One of the reasons this recipe is so great is because I can use my left over bananas to make it. We love bananas in our house but they always start turning brown before we can eat them all. So what I do is put those bananas in the freezer. I keep them there until I have about 3 of them for my banana bread recipe. When I do I take them out the night before and put them in a bowl to thaw.
Ingredients
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1/4 cup Margarine
- 2 Large Eggs
- 1 cup Bananas , mashed
- 2 cups Bisquick
- 1/3 cup Walnuts , optional

-
In a mixer cream sugar and margarine. Add eggs and bananas and mix well. Blend in Bisquick and nuts. Pour into a well greased bread pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 55 minutes. Cool 10 minutes before removing from pan.
