The NeuYear Calendar was created in 2011 by a couple of designer-entrepreneurs that wanted a cool calendar so they decided to make one. The NeuYear calendar is big, 27″x39″ and shows you the whole year at once. No more flipping month by month through a standard calendar or scrolling through a calendar on your small computer screen and large squares give you plenty of room to write or place a post it note. This calendar has no gaps between months, maximizing the use of space and focusing on the 52 weeks and not 12 months. Having all months right in front of you makes planning across multiple months easy to do. The NeuYear Calendar is two sided, one oriented horizontally and the other vertically so you can put it on the back of the door or hang it on a wall.
NeuYear Calendars are available in both academic year and calendar year and your choice of coated or uncoated. The calendar I chose to try and review is the calendar year coated dry erase and I found numerous uses for it. Plan your children’s school events or if you home school your children you could plan out the school year on it. I have two children that play softball and baseball and juggling their games and practice schedules can be quite challenging sometimes so being able to write them on the calendar and see all events there in one place is awesome. I also keep up with a meal planner and normally use a one week calendar dry erase type board to write meal plans on but the squares are small and hard to write in so a NeuYear Calendar is perfect for that. See the Kickstarter video below from the launch back in 2011 for more information on the calendar.
The awesome folks at NeuYear Calendar have been gracious enough to offer a FREE calendar to one of my readers. Just enter using the Promosimple widget below and a winner will be drawn on 2/24. Be sure to check out NeuYear Calendar on facebook and twitter. Good luck!
