We all know how great Hidden Valley Ranch is on salads and for dipping it is amazing, my husband will not eat his Nashville Style Hot Chicken or Buffalo Wings without it, but Hidden Valley Ranch can be used for so much more, especially with their newly released flavors.
New flavors include Avocado Ranch, Cucumber Ranch, Cucumber Ranch (Light), Sweet Chili and Roasted Garlic, all of these new flavors can be found at your local Walmart. What I love most about cooking with Hidden Valley Ranch dressing is how much time it saves me. I can take the average burger to the next level with Hidden Valley Ranch or some everyday boneless chicken breasts into a quick and easy weeknight meal that my family is sure to love. Check out this recipe for Ranch Baked Chicken using the new Hidden Valley Roasted Garlic Ranch Dressing.
The ingredients for this recipe are simple, 4-5 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, 1 cup of Hidden Valley Roasted Garlic Ranch Dressing, 2 cups of plain bread crumbs, a dash of salt, pepper and paprika. You could also use bone in chicken and just increase the cooking time if you prefer. I love to make my own bread crumbs using the leftover heels from loaves of bread that normally just get thrown away, just sit it out on the counter on a plate for a day or two to allow it to dry out, crumble up the bread and put it in a freezer bag and keep adding to it. You may think putting it in the freezer would make them wet, but that is not the case at all, just allow to thaw about 30 minutes before you need them and you are good to go. Now on to preparing this yummy recipe, start by washing the chicken, combine salt, pepper, paprika and bread crumbs.
Dip chicken in Ranch dressing, then in bread crumb; mix. Place on baking sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes and the check on them, I ended up baking mine for a total of 45 minutes, but that will vary on the size of your chicken breasts.
There you have it, a great tasting recipe that could not be simpler, only about 15 minutes of prep time makes this an excellent weeknight meal after a long day of work and school. Do you have a favorite Hidden Valley Ranch recipe? If so feel free to share it in the comments below.
