Running a home is an expensive task. From paying the bills to putting food on the table, there never seems to be enough green to go around. Families need extra income, but additional revenue streams aren’t always forthcoming. Thankfully, the answer is on the very ground on which you stand. Yep, Mother Earth; Mother Nature; the planet – whatever you call it, it can help. If you are unsure as to how, you should take a look at the following. This is how you get paid by helping the environment.
Produce Clean Energy
Residential homes around the globe are synonymous with renewable energy. Why? It’s because roof solar panels and wind turbines reduce the cost of energy expenses. When you make your own, there is no reason to splash out on extortionate energy prices. Still, that is saving money and not making it, but there is another way. Any excess electricity you produce is sellable. Seriously, the local authority or the energy companies will pay you to take it off their hands. One reason is it saves them time and money, and the other is a government subsidy. Regardless, it reduces CO2 emissions and cuts costs at the same time. Easy!
Return Glass Bottles
Humans have come up with ingenious methods of manufacturing in the last couple of hundred years. Sadly, some of them are not healthy for the environment. Plastic is without a doubt the best example, but glass isn’t much better. Because they don’t degrade, glass and plastics clutter the earth and cause chaos. You can’t get paid by recycling plastic, but you should do it anyway to help the planet and the animals. However, traders will pay for glass bottles. Okay, it may be less than 20 cents a bottle if you are lucky, but a bucketful equals a nice payday!
Take A Survey
You may not have the time to help the planet but there are lots of eco-warriors who do. And, they need information to help them combat pollution around the world. The info they need is in your head and your neighbor’s and so on and so forth. Understanding public opinion helps them develop strategies to save the planet, which is where a survey comes in handy. An online questionnaire may appear fake, but lots of them are genuine. Even better, they pay cash and all you have to do is answer a few straightforward questions. Just do your research before taking part in any.
Change Career
Saving the planet is big business, and lots of companies need experts. Not only do they want positive PR, but they need to cut costs too. In fairness, bosses also understand the need to help the planet and give back in some small way. So, there may be a role in the HR department which focuses on current codes of conduct. Or, there could be a specialist role which concentrates on implementing green technologies. Whatever it is, a change of career can kill two birds with one stone. Two birds with one stone, incidentally, is very eco-friendly!
As you can see, it is possible to help Mother Earth and get paid in the process.
