The heart of this Weather System is the PRO+ 5-in-1 Weather Sensor which measures temperature, humidity, wind speed, wind direction and rain. It contains two solar panels to power the internal fan to maximize ambient temperature accuracy at all hours of the day. The weather sensor has a strong wireless range of up to 330 feet and transmits data every 18 to 36 seconds. The rain collection cup is self emptying and the durable all weather construction means you will always have the latest weather data weather it be the middle of an ice storm or the 90 degree summers we get here in Tennessee.
The AcuLink Internet Bridge uploads sensor data to the AcuRite app or myAcuRite.com website and works with all AcuLink compatible sensors. By installing the AcuRite Connection for Windows software you can save weather records by downloading data to your computer in a data file. The Windows software also allows you to share your weather by streaming data to the AcuRite mobile apps, myAcuRite.com or broadcast to weather communities like Weather Underground with Rapid Fire updates. For weather info while on the go you can use AcuRite Online or the AcuLink App to view data from your sensors from anywhere in the world and you can also set it up to send email or text alerts when conditions change or your preset conditions are met. Those alerts can be triggered by rainfall, flooding conditions, high wind speed, high or low temperatures or humidity conditions, oncoming storms and more.
