Thirty million American women struggle with hair loss. The possible reasons are diverse and include diet, harsh hair styling tools, poor quality hair care products, stress, and genetics. Personally, I found that my confidence waned as my hairline did, forcing me to look into hair loss treatments. The following Follinique review is the result of my experiences with a great product.
The Basics About Follinique
Follinique is a topical hair loss solution applied daily to your scalp in order to stimulate your hair follicles to become more active, stalling hair loss while simultaneously increasing hair length. When used as directed, this powerful formula has the ability to reverse hair loss by filling in any bald spots, helping women reclaim the confidence that accompanies a full head of hair.
I decided to try it for several reasons. First, the product had many positive reviews online. I also liked that it has no known adverse side effects, making it the type of product I can use every day. Most importantly, I trusted the science behind its active ingredient.
Follinique’s Potent Formula
Follinique contains a 2-percent Minoxidil solution, the only over-the-counter hair loss treatment approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for use in the United States. Minoxidil works by encouraging each hair follicle to exit its resting phase (called telogen) in favor of a more active phase called anagen, producing a more lustrous head of hair over time. This means that it works with my body instead of against it, helping me grow hair that is just as good as what used to be on my head.
The science behind Minoxidil is clear. According to one recent study, 59 percent of women using a 2-percent Minoxidil solution reported significant hair regrowth versus just 40 percent using a placebo. Those are the kind of results I can get behind!

How To Buy Follinique
Follinique is available for purchase on the product’s official website (Follinique.com) as well as well-known online retailers such as Amazon. Each bottle costs $59.95 plus an additional $4.95 to cover shipping and handling, but you can get a better price by completing a bulk order. I usually buy three at a time for $119.90 (or $39.95 each) and enjoy complimentary shipping with my order. You can also buy five for $179.85 (that’s $35.95 each) and still take advantage of complimentary shipping. Either way, you win!
My Verdict
I have been using Follinique for about four months now, making sure to follow the manufacturer’s directions to apply the product twice daily. My hair started to noticeably return around the two-month mark, with my results only getting better as more time passes. I feel much more confident in both my appearance and myself since using this product and strongly recommend it to anybody struggling with the hair loss issues I was.
Everybody responds to this product differently though, and the manufacturer recommends starting it as soon as you notice that your hair is thinning for best results. Therefore, you should try Follinique right away if you are ready to take back a full head of hair!
