Jerry’s Artarama has been around since 1968 when Jerry Goldstein opened the art materials and supplies store in Long Island, introducing aspiring and experienced artists to the wonder of discount pricing. In 1979, Jerry’s son David thought that everyone in the USA should have access to all that Jerry’s Artarama had to offer and started the mail-order operation which at that time featured a 4 page catalog, that catalog has now grown to over 500 pages! Jerry’s Artarama now has a chain of 15 discount art supply stores and a huge online presence. Available to you with the click of a mouse is everything from Acrylic Paints & Mediums to Graffiti & Street Art Supplies to Sculpture and Pottery Supplies and everything else in between. Jerry’s Artarama even has over 1,000 FREE art lessons available online, so if you are interested in starting in the wonderful world of art of perfecting your skills there is something for everyone.
I just started homeschooling my 8,9 and 14 year olds this year and one of our classes is art, something they really enjoyed when they were in public schools and we had to continue. I was given this First Impressions Complete Art Studio Sets for Kids from Jerry’s Artarama to try out and it has been awesome to have around for art class. The supplies are very high quality and the colors are bright and beautiful. This studio art set has everything you need to be creative and it comes in a convenient case for storage and travel. Our other art supplies are scattered in drawers and it is really nice to have all we need here in one location and very organized.
Set includes:
- 24 transparent watercolor cakes
- 24 assorted colored pencils
- 15 assorted oil pastels
- 10 water based markers
- 2 plastic trays for color mixing
