Organize Your Assignments With An Academic Planner
This is my first year homeschooling my three younger children. They range in age from eight to fourteen. One of the hardest things for us to accomplish as homeschoolers is organization. I’m a very organized person in everything I do but for some reason homeschooling has really been a challenge for me. As my children’s teacher I need to plan an entire school year of assignments for every subject. Not only for the main subjects like Math, Science, and History but all the extra curricular activities that we participate in too. I’ve been searching for an academic planner that would make scheduling easier and more organized for all of us. I’ve been using the Order Out Of Chaos Academic Planner for several weeks now. Here’s what it looks like:
Inside you’ll find a sheet to track a class schedule and then a planner user guide. This page shows you exactly how you can use this academic planner. Each month starts with a calendar and notes section before getting to the planning pages. What I really like is that this planner comes with an entire year, not just a school year as many of the academic planners out there do. The planner starts with July/August of this year through July/August of the following year. On the left hand side of the calendar you’ll find empty blocks to fill in subjects. At the bottom of each page is what’s considered “after school” and a great place for organizing any after school activities to help your student stay on task. Each section contains a small “done” box that can be checked off as the student completes that assignment. It also includes a notes column that you can write down reminders for tests or projects for the following week too. In the back of the planner contains a plastic pocket sheet to store papers in or notes, permission slips and more.
I encourage you to visit Order Out Of Chaos and click on the ‘Shop Products’ tab at the top. Scroll down and check out the video that shows using this academic planner. Eliminate fogetfulness and stay organized with the academic planner.

I’m a very busy mom. I’d use the planner to keep things straight. Between my daughter who plays the flute in her middle school band and she’s a member of the National Junior Beta Club both of those keep her and of course that means me too. We run around from place to place for band. I also take her and some of her friends who are in the Beta Club to retirement homes for them to volunteer we sometimes get things mixed up. I’m disabled and I have tons of doctors appointments I’ve missed some and I’ve also double scheduled myself. All that and I help my sons run errands and stuff so yeah I need this to help keep me straight.
