Queen of Savings is proud to have Canvas4Life, the premier photo to canvas provider in the world in our 2013 Holiday Gift Guide. Canvas prints are the perfect gift for that family member that you feel has everything and is hard to shop for or they are perfect as a wedding gift. If you are unsure of which photo to have printed, choose a gift certificate or gift card and you can even get a gift box so that you have a present to wrap.
I was given the opportunity to review a 16×20 canvas print from Canvas4Life and I chose the photo above. This photo was taken while we were on one of our homeschool field trips with my sister and her family and she shot this awesome photo of all the kids. The process of getting your photo to canvas could not be easier with Canvas4Life. If you have a lot of photos to choose from and are not sure which ones are good enough quality to be printed, just upload the photo and use the real time photo quality checker. It will scan the photo and tell you based of the size and resolution it will grade the photo quality from low to high and tell you if it is suitable for printing and you can even upload pictures from your facebook account.
After the photo is uploaded the first step you are presented with is the layout, do you want a single panel or the image to be split up among 2 or 3 panels to achieve the effect you are looking for? The next step is to choose the size of canvas you want. You will only be presented with size options that are appropriate for your photo and was determined when your image was checked with the quality checker. The next step is to choose the finish, uncoated, matte or satin. Uncoated is simply ink on canvas, matte finish will add a specially formulated varnish to help prevent scratches and scuffs while the satin finish adds a brilliant semi-gloss shine and also protects from scratches and scuffs.
Next choose your frame depth, either 3/4″ or 1 1/2″ deep and move on to choosing your bleed option which determines whether or not the print wraps around the edge of the canvas. The last two steps are to view virtual picture frames if you would like to add one and then the final step is to decide whether or not you want to apply “Photo Perfect” which will automatically enhance your photo. All orders are shipped free with Super Saver shipping and I received mine in a little less than a week.
The end product is absolutely beautiful. Canvas4Life uses 100% cotton canvas with HP Vivera Inks that are guaranteed to last at least 75 years so this is a product that you will cherish forever with bright vibrant colors. The wonderful folks from Canvas4Life are offering one 16×20 canvas print to be given away to one of my lovely readers.
