Community Coffee has been around since 1919 when founder Cap Saurage opened a country store to sell coffee and groceries to his neighbors. Soon after Cap discovered a blend that was richer, smoother and more bold than other coffees around and he named it Community Coffee to honor his friends and neighbors because it was coffee made for the community. Community Coffee is still a family owned business and four generations later they are still hand selecting beans from all over the world and tasting the finished product at their kitchen table.
As we get in the back to school routine our day begins with a good ‘ol cup of coffee. I don’t know about you, but when I wake up I don’t want to do anything or talk to anyone until I get started on a cup of coffee. Over the summer I get used to staying up late and sleeping in so when the school routine starts back getting up early is quite the shock. I love sitting on the back deck on these, cool mornings and having a cup of Community Coffee with Xena. Chris loves the Dark Roast blend and makes him a cup as he runs out the door and I am a light to medium roast kind of girl. This fall Community Coffee also has some seasonal varieties to help get us ready for these cooler months and the holidays that are right around the corner. Pumpkin Praline has hints of pumpkin spice and toasted pecans and if you love the smell of a Pumpkin Pie in the oven, your mouth will be watering when this coffee is brewing. Southern Bread Pudding is a throwback to the traditional Southern dessert made with brown sugar, caramel and a hint of honey-coated raisins. I am not a fan of bread pudding because of the mushy bread texture, but the aroma is amazing and so great to fill the house with in the morning.
Find the seasonal Pumpkin Praline and Southern Bread Pudding and all other Community Coffee products at a retailer near you and Amazon and be sure to show them some love on facebook, twitter and YouTube.
