I am not a big fan of getting flowers or gifts for Mother’s Day, for me it is about spending time with my kids and creating memories with them because as we all know they grow up so fast. We love to play cards or board games together, maybe a game or two on the XBOX or Wii and I love, love to put puzzles together. When it comes to puzzles, Ravensburger has the best, whether you are looking for traditional puzzles, puzzles made specifically for children of these new awesome 3D puzzles, Ravensburger has you covered.
You may remember two other Ravensburger 3D Puzzles that I reviewed last year, the Tula Moon Eiffel Tower and Empire State Building at Night . Both of these were great fun to put together and very challenging. When I received the offer to try out the Neuschwanstein Castle 3D Puzzle of course I could not pass it up. Germany’s Neuschwanstein Castle was made famous by Disney and remains one of the most recognizable icons in the world. This puzzle contains 216 carefully-constructed plastic puzzle pieces, including curved and hinged pieces that interlock to create a perfect copy of one of Europe’s most famous landmarks.
My son, Ethan and I had a great time putting together this puzzle. When you are all done these puzzles are meant to be displayed, not just taken apart and put back in the box. Ethan uses the Empire State Building at Night Puzzle in his bedroom as a nightlight and Phoebe loves the Tula Moon puzzle and has it displayed in her room. I am sure the next time we have guests over they will all enjoy this latest puzzle. Spend some quality time with your Mom this Mother’s Day and build some memories and a puzzle to last a lifetime.
