When you hear me say the name Garden Lites, muffins probably do not come to mind, but they should. I have a bunch of picky eaters in my house so I have to be sneaky about getting the vegetables they need into their every day foods. I have freezer bags of shredded zucchini and carrots in the freezer that I integrate into my baked goods and the kids never know. Garden Lites does this same thing, but they take all of the work out of it.
Garden Lites muffins are available in three delicious flavors, Banana Chocolate Chip, Chocolate and Blueberry Oat. The first ingredient in these muffins is zucchini, followed by carrots, egg whites, gluten-free flour and more. What I love most is that they are frozen, I pop them in the microwave for 35 seconds or 10 seconds if they are thawed and we have delicious muffins. My husband is a huge fan of Banana and Chocolate so he loved those muffins and me being the chocoholic, you know which ones were my favorite. The Blueberry Oat Muffins, have big plump blueberries and the oats add a great contrast of texture.
Garden Lites products can be found at a retailer near you, find one here and also from QVC. The wonderful folks from Garden Lites are offering two free coupons to one of my lucky readers so you can try them for yourself. My niece & nephews are the children I watch regularly, but honestly, they eat better than I do! They like veggies, especially raw. My youngest nephew is 5 & actually likes Brussell Sprouts, lol. They like junk, too, of course! I bet they would love these-& think they were eating something bad for them, lol.
