We are all familiar with the John Paul Mitchell name in hair care products. Co-founder, John Paul DeJoria revolutionized the hair care industry by banning animal testing on his products over 30 years ago. John’s extensive knowledge in formulating products for hair and skin care have also led to new standards for pet grooming and hygiene products which has led to John Paul Pet and a variety of shampoos, conditioners, sprays and pet wipes. John Paul’s shampoo and conditioners are balanced for pets sensitive skin and their needs and the entire line is tested on humans first to verify their safety and effectiveness for pets.
John Paul Pet Lavender Mint Shampoo contains Tea Tree leaf oil along with Lavender and Mint extracts that when combined soothe skin irritation allowing hot spots to heal, plus this shampoo includes added conditioners to improve strength and manageability of coat. This shampoo is so gentle on Xena’s skin and leaves her coat feeling so smooth and soft and the scent of lavender and mint go together so well and seem to hang around for a while. The Lavender Mint Detangling Spray contains thirteen conditioning agents including Oatmeal, Chamomile, Sweet Almond Oil, and Panthenol to coat and penetrate strands to release tangles. Just spray on damp or dry coats and brush through.
As you can see it lathers up really well and leaves Xena smelling great. We use the conditioning spray in between baths, spraying it on and then brushing it out. My little Chihuahua does not like getting baths but he is very good once I get him in there. If he knows I am going to bathe him he tries to hide. Instead of putting him in the tub, I put him in the free standing shower and get right in there with him. He is nervous but well behaved
One of our labs hates a bath but the other gets mad if she doesnt get a bath every week, she even loves playing in the rain she jumps up in the air trying to catch the rain
My dogs do not care for their baths, but they tolerate them well enough. A little peanut butter bribe never hurts.

I have three dogs. One doesn’t mind at all. When we first got her I would put a little water in the tub and she would play in it whenever she wanted to so I think she just got used to it.. She also has a kiddie pool in the summer. One of the males doesn’t care either way but the other one prefers not to have a bath. it’s funny though the one who likes the kiddie pool doesn’t care for the lake but the boys love the lake but don’t like the kiddie pool.
