NomNomNow was founded when Alex and her husband Zach began cooking meals for their blue-eyed dog Harlee in their apartment trying to see if it would help her with her weakened immune system. The couple began cooking her meals like you would for your own child using ingredients that they themselves would eat and they saw an improvement in her health. They had microbiome tests run on Harlee which confirmed that her gut was unbalanced so they began adding probiotics to her meals and her health has been excellent ever since. NomNomNow started in San Frnacisco and recently expanded to middle Tennesee. NomNomNow offers human grade food for our pets using restaurant quality ingredients. Each meal is prepared, delivered, served fresh and portioned correctly for your pet.

For the first week to help your pet get adjusted to the new food you will mix in the NomNomNow with their current food, half and half.
Xena knows this package is for her!
Here you can see Xena digging in. At first we noticed that Xena was not eating it as quickly as we thought she would. If I throw some cooked chicken in her bowl it is gone in no time. I ended up heating the NomNomNow food in the microwave for 20 seconds and she ate it up in no time, she is just not used to her food being cold. Per NomNomNow they do not recommend additional heating of the food because it could change its nutritional value so they recommend letting it sit out at room temperature or place the pouch of food in warm water to allow it to warm up. Once the food was warm Xena loved it. For the second week and going forward you will feed your pet NomNomNow exclusively and will notice the pouches for those weeks will be larger and portion sized appropriately for your pet.
I cannot say that we saw a difference in Xena over the course of two weeks of trying the product. Xena does not have any health issues and has always been a good eater so there was not a “problem” that I was trying to see if this food could fix. She did enjoy eating this food once it was at the proper temperature for her and I would say she probably felt like she was getting treats at every meal. The barrier for this product for us is the cost, the lowest weekly price I can get is $69.77 if I purchase the 4 week option, which does not work for us financially, however if we could fit this into our budget I would purchase it for Xena and our kitty Mocha as well.
