Last weekend was a beautiful weekend here in TN, perfect Fall like weather, a little chilly, but great for Fall activities. We drove out to Shuckles Corn Maze at Fiddle Dee Farms in Greenbrier, TN for a family day of fun. There are quite a few activities that are included with general admission and then there are some additional activities such as zip lining, paintball and buying pumpkins that can be purchased with Shuckle Bucks which are an additional purchase.
We started off with some fun pics of the kids, including the biggest kid of all, my husband Chris. We checked out the petting zoo and the kids liked the goats and lamb, they also had pot belly pigs and chickens that were in pens so we were not able to pet those.
Ethan enjoyed the Barnyard Golf and they have a large Fiddle Fort that they kids can play in that also has a Super Slide.
Shuckle’s Corn maze is seven acres and has three different entrances, not all make it to the exit so choose wisely. If you go after dark you can also do the maze by flashlight to make it even more challenging.
We all enjoyed the hayride around the farm, I thought it was one of our favorite things. You can also decorate your pumpkin for free that you purchase from their pumpkin patch.
If you get hungry while visiting you can check out The Fiddler’s Stop and grab a hamburger, hot dog and even fried pickles and for dessert be sure to visit The Butterstick Bakery for everything pumpkin from Pumpkin Cheesecake to Pumpkin Fudge. We really enjoyed our visit to Shuckle’s Corn Maze at Fiddle Dee Farms. There are several of these types of farms around the Nashville area available for Fall and Halloween visits and I would say Shuckle’s is very similar to the others. We do feel that the price of admission is a little pricey, well over $50 for a family of 5 like ours and we think some of the things that can be purchased for Shuckle Bucks should be included in the cost of admission for the price. Check out the gallery below for all of the pictures from our trip and be sure to head over here to get your $2 off coupon and check out Shuckle’s on facebook.
