This review is written by Chris, “The Queen’s” husband. We were recently given the opportunity to try and review razors from ShaveMOB. I must admit that I was very skeptic about how good of a product they would be with their low price point. I have been shaving since I was 13 and have a very heavy beard. I started out like most guys with electric shavers and I just killed those things so I moved to using razor blades. Over the years I have tried every brand of razor blade out there and finally found one that would last for a decent amount of time so I have stuck with it. Over the past couple of years I have also tried some of the new more modern electric shavers, the self cleaning ones that cost over $200, the one that can be used in the shower and can be submerged in water that are well over $100 and neither of them gave as a good of a shave as a bladed razor and I went through the foils and blades like crazy for those which are very costly.
My current razor blade at the time I started this review which shall remain unnamed is priced at right around $17 for 5 blades. I would go through one of these blades about every 3 weeks so we were buying them around 3 times per year. My usual razor has those little comfort strips on the bottom that are supposed to help it glide across your face. The funny thing is as that piece wears out it turns into hard plastic and would start irritating my face before the blade was even wore out which was a big downer.
ShaveMOB razors arrive to you in this handy little tube package that is made from 100% recycled products, pretty cool. ShaveMOB makes razors for both Men and Women but for the purpose of this review I will concentrate on the Men’s since that is the only product we tried. These razors are available in three different packages at three different price points. The razors start off with The Baby Face, a three blade razor. This razor shares the same features as its bigger brothers which include a non clogging flow through design, pivot head with ergonomic angle handle, a lubricating strip that contains Aloe, Vitamin E and Chamomile with three stainless steel blades with a price point of $2 per month. The next level up is The Average Joe, contains 4 stainless steel blades, same features as The Baby Face with the addition of Olive Oil and Allantoin to the comfort strip, priced as low as $2.50 per month. The Caveman is the ultimate 6 blade razor with all of the same features as the Average Joe and includes an option for a trimmer on the back. The Caveman is priced as low as $3 per month without the optional trimmer. The razor I received to try is The Caveman. As I said from the beginning I was pretty skeptical of how this razor would perform and thought it would just fall over and die at the task of shaving my beard. I pictured visions of hacking way at my face forever trying to get a decent shave, but I must say I was pleasantly surprised. This razor offers a remarkably close shave, so of course I still had a little bit of skepticism and thought “Well how long is this thing going to last?” To my surprise one blade lasted me a full four weeks. The comfort strip on the ShaveMOB razor was still as good as new and the blade was just starting to get dull, I would say I could have probably even used it for another week or maybe even two.
The only downside I can say about the ShaveMOB razor is the blade is a little larger than I am used to and makes it a little more difficult to shave around the nose area, still possible just takes a little more time and making a few funny faces in the mirror. If you are tired of not getting a good shave or just tired of spending more than you have to on razors then I strongly recommend you give ShaveMOB a try. There is no contract and no commitment. Just head to the website and pick out your razor, choose your supply from 2, 6 or 12 months, save a ton money and start shaving and saving. ShaveMOB will even send you an email when it is time to order again. I know those over priced name branded razors are a thing of the past for me. Order your ShaveMOB today and #ShaveSmarter and also be sure to show them some love on facebook, twitter and Pinterest.

My husband always complains because he can’t ever find the right razor for him. He’s tried every brand out there too. He’ll have to try these and see what he thinks, especially with prices that low!!!
