This Valentine’s Day why not skip the long waits and long lines at your neighborhood restaurant and stay in and have dinner courtesy of Three Bridges? My husband and I love cooking together, we even get the kids involved and they love it. We are on a mission to eat healthier so cooking at home where we know what goes into our food really helps with that, plus our kids are always more likely to try new foods when they helped cook the meal so Three Bridges products are a great fit for us. At Three Bridges they are guided by a deep and unending passion for three things: Chef-crafted recipes, endless creativity, and good living. Those are the three bridges that inspire them to create foods that awaken the palate and feed the soul.
I recently took a trip to the local grocery store and picked up a variety of Three Bridges products so I could recreate a few chef inspired recipes from the recipes section of their website. The products I picked up were the Superfood Ravioli, Chicken & Basil Ravioli, Pappardelle, Spinash & Cheese Ravioli and some of their Marinara Sauce, below are the wonderful creations we made.
We used the Chicken & Basil Ravioli to make Vegetable Primavera with Grilled Chicken & Basil Ravioli. This recipe starts with cooking some Pancetta in Olive Oil which makes a wonderful pork flavored base that you add cherry tomatoes to that are cooked until they are soft and release their juices making a wonderful sauce, shred some fresh Parmesan over the dish and you have a great meal.
The second recipe we prepared makes use of the Superfood Ravioli which is stuffed with kale and spinach to make Superfood Ravioli with Caramelized Onion, Black Olives & Parmesan with a light sauce consisting of Olive Oil flavored with optional Anchovies, kalamata olives, onion and thyme.
Pappardelle with Peas, Asparagus, & Pancetta is light and refreshing using lemon juice and artichokes with English Peas and yummy Asparagus tips.
This Lazy Lasagna was so hot and bubbly and so easy to make using Spinach & Cheese Ravioli and Three Bridges Marinara Sauce which we all loved, it tasted just as good as my homemade Marinara I made last summer.
We really enjoyed making these recipes. We all got in the kitchen as a family and made these dishes one at a time and passed them around and shared as we made the next. Our kids would not normally eat cherry tomatoes, but they loved the sauce they made with the Chicken & Basil Ravioli in the Vegetable Primavera and I even got them to eat the Superfood Ravioli so this was a great experience.
