Since its beginning in 1993 Lugz has been an innovator in the foot wear market. What began as a brand with a couple styles of boots, a quilted vest and a pair of jeans has evolved into a leader in footwear and its trendsetting style has gone beyond boots adding casual and athletic shoes for men, women and kids. Helping keep Lugz fresh and relevant are its many partnerships from hip hop stars, to Orange County Choppers to MMA Champions endorsing and inspiring their latest products.
The Sophia Boot from Lugz is like a combination of a work boot, with a woman’s flair thrown in. These lace up boots feature a thermabuck upper with padded collar and tongue for added comfort and also help keep the cold out. These boots are available in the Walnut/Cream/Gum color combination I chose, Wheat/Cream/Gum, Black with a Permahide Upper which gives the look of leather or Black with a Durabrush upper which is more like the material on the ones I chose above. These boots are very durable and rugged, excellent traction in the rain and will definitely be my go to boots in the winter months ahead. The toe is a little narrow so it did take me wearing them several times for me to break them in and get comfy. If you wear tight fitting shoes often you will probably not even notice this.
The wonderful folks from Lugz are offering a pair of Sophia’s to one of my lucky readers in the winners choice of color. Check back this Saturday 10/25 to enter and be sure to show Lugz some love on facebook and twitter.
